New Kings Park Stadium

Don't knock a good initiative (imho) just because AFCB can't get its act together regarding a new stadium.
Don't think we're knocking the latest initiative, just pointing out that there are other types of diversity which the club is perceived to be neglecting at the moment.

If, when, there is an announcement about what is happening about the training ground or the stadium (perhaps the stadium might be built somewhere near the proposed training ground? Who knows), can we create a NEW THREAD as I'm sort of getting fed up looking in this one and there being no change at all.

Something must be going on that explains the delay, surely?

But in the meantime, enjoying the buzz of the brilliant football..

Now it's effecting the decent athletic going folk and not just us bunch of footy hooligans, surely they'll be making a statement soon...... When was planning permission supposed to go in, this month wasn't it? It's being run as bad as the brexit fiasco!

I am not in the country, And I'm sick of getting stupid polite emails back from the club every time I ask them something. Surely a few of you can get the Chairman up against the wall before or after a game and ask him whats the feck is going on.

it's 99 days 'til Christmas. Some kind of announcement in the next 7-13 days feels about right. Something to see us through the long cold winter.

The club is the most diverse in the Premier League. More fans than ever, no matter their creed, gender or ethnicity are being equally shafted and not able to see games.

That's the PR training suits fobbing you off with politician's answers.

Translation: "You are worthless next to the Sky gods, please go away."

Whilst we don't know if Wilson or King might be sold this window the training ground could be the only legacy of the Premier League.

We've been lucky this year that we have qualified for the PL Under 23 cup, which provides us with a minimum of six games for fringe squad/under 23 players and we reached the quarter finals of the EFL cup which provided us with three more games plus we have tomorrows 3rd FA Cup game. So that is ten games which if we exited the EFL and FA Cups we would have had just two games.

I think it is vital that we develop the training ground to achieve CAT 2 status and be able to play regular PL 2 games for our promising youngsters and fringe players. It would be more of a selling point for our Academy and we wouldn't have to send our Under 23 players out on loan. We would also have everything based in one location.
