AFC Bournemouth v Manchester United

Well that was a kick in the teeth. First half destroyed them, they only showed up after scoring from a breakaway but we should have been out of sight by then.

Second half a much more defensive performance as they looked much better but still broke away and created some good chances.

In summary: bugger.

Great first 30 mins. But in the last 15, we looked more like the team playing for a draw. Still, deserved a point, cruel fate.

What has gosling and Ibe done since co.ing on. Strange changes.

Ibe set up probably our best chance of the second half with a ball through to Brooks and won a couple of corners, which is decent for 15 minute appearance. Gosling was a more defensive option in midfield since we were badly running out of steam, which seems sensible.

We lost because Ake jumped under a fairly routine ball into the box. Not that he deserves any criticism because he otherwise excellent, but not everything is the fault of the usual scapegoats.

Well that was inevitable wasn't it. I've seen that game many times before. Without the three early goals when we were.on top we didn't stand a chance.

We had em on the rack for 20 minutes and a few good short periods but they dominated most of it with Lingard adding a dimension!

There were times in the match where control of the ball by both sides would have graced the fields of Lyme Regis versus Beer Albion in the Macron Devon and Exeter League ...Premier!
However it was a match that could have gone either way..as the MU fans around me admitted..'harsh' was their general opinion.

Good but not good enough, we have to convert those early chances ?The ref was their extra man and the TV commentators are soooo MU and Shaw is a real dirty bar-steward !

Jenas was very positive about us, even gave Ake the MOTM
