It's a makeshift defence and midfield, and going forward they are better than us.

However, we could still get something out of this, their defence has no excuse for looking so poor.

Nonsense, that season we got a point at home to Reading in a 1-1 draw then beat Brentford on New Years day 4-3.
 
Problem with saving players for Watford....if we lose this 5-1 then the ones that did play have their confidence further dented.....Watford are playing well and want revenge...so many angles to look at!
 
Daniels, Ibe, Stanislas all playing in their non favoured positions due to injuries in the squad. That weakens central midfield, the left flank, the right flank and central defence. So unsurprisingly we might look a bit disjointed.

What I’m confused with is why Brooks only tracks his man to about 15 yards from goal and stops each time.

He’s not stopping Pogba regardless, but he does it every time including the third. It’s a bit odd.

Great assist though so not knocking him.

I think you will find the Factmeister is correct. 18th Dec 9-0 Lincoln, 26th Dec 5-0 Orient. A 1-1 draw in between with Reading

Yes I was at that Lincoln game. They scored three whilst I was walking out of the ground.
