Callum Wilson

I'd take 50 mil, that's enough for a decent CB,CM and a gamble on a youngster.
Honestly I'll still be surprised if Chelsea pay 50 mil for him, can't see Callum as a good top 6 striker tbh and he's nearly 27 so not exactly young anymore.

The thing is for a team like Chelsea, if he gets them goals that put them in the CL spots, he's paid for himself.

I wonder how different history would have been had that gone through. Weren't we due to get about £1.5 million of it?

Talking about £50M for Higuain and he's 31!

Gabbiadini? He is shocking.
He isn’t a long term item no. But it would well piss th Scummers off and he’d be a cheap stopgap between now and the end of the season.

Confidence player who on his day is pretty nifty.

New club and starting he’s score enough on a short term contract.

Chelsea are facing a possible transfer ban in the summer which was probably a factor in their preparedness to pay so much for Pulisic only to loan him back to Dortmund immediately. If they don’t improve their striker options this transfer window they risk missing out on a CL place and of annoying and losing Eden Hazard. They also have two or three homegrown players taking up places in their squad who are never going to play (eg Drinkwater, Moses) and need homegrown first Xl replacements.

No way wil the Chelsea hierarchy sanction an expensive short term move for 31 year old non-homegrown Higuain even if Sarri wants him.

Frankly Chelsea have few other options and time is running out for them. If they want Wilson now we have them over a barrel and can and should squeeze a very high price out of them, well north of £50 million.

I had forgotten the possible transfer ban that Chelsea are facing. Here's some info

That makes sense of why they would want Wilson now and not wait until the summer. Also gives AFCB leverage to demand top money.

50 million is silly money really. Callum can go missing at times and he won’t get the love over there that he does here.

Get Gabbiadini off the scummers cheap before they go down and it might work in our favour.

Such a tough decision for Eddie to make, it could potentially send us down!!

Agreed. If Wilson has to be sold it would be more beneficial to let him go at the end of the season as opposed to mid-season so we then can rebuild the side during the summer. If we let him go now we would not score if the goal posts were as wide apart as the pitch and the opposition fielded no goalkeeper. This could send us into a relegation scrap.

King has scored plenty as the main striker and he'd have the leading PL assist maker playing behind him. Not to mention the goals from Fraser himself, Brooks, Stan, etc.

On what basis? Fraser, King, Brooks have all contributed amongst others more than enough this season. Even if Wilson does go it would not send us into a relegation scrap.
