Transfer season .

Eddie is looking for quality and not quantity in the transfer window according to the Echo.

Think we have heard that from him before.

A loan to Celtic would make sense - Except for the fact Lys' contract runs until next summer.
So we either need to sell or renew now. Would a renewal and instant loan out be realistic?

as if!

rondon has a release clause from wba of 16.5m if mousset leaves - big wages and lack of a guarantee of a starting place might put that to bed though

We haven't paid 19m for Solanke for him to sit on the bench every week.
I can't see a centre forward being a high priority unless someone comes in with big bucks for Callum.
Exactly what I think. Let mousset go for good money and use it in another area. Surridge is banging on the door now as well.

Ahh... Bugger...

Agree about Solanke, however I dont see anything in Solanke (yet) that is better than what Mousset brings. In fact I'd probably put Lys before Solabnke on his strength on the ball... Offer Lys a 2 year extension so he can go on loan for 1 year and still have 2 years left on his contract if we decide to move him on next summer...

Both Mousett and Solanke need games, and regular games... This will always be our problem, with developing strikers, when you have two established strikers ahead of them...

Surridge is still young, he'd did really well at Oldham last year, so why not see if he can replicate that in the Championship? You don't need to have him in the squad next season, and it'll probably be better for his development to get games.
