Training ground

I just wondered if there was a public right of way, by the river and perhaps you could see in from there?
I haven't been down there so I have no idea if there is currently access.

You can see in from several locations at the moment. The whole East side of this park borders the new training complex for its entirety. My guess is that they will screen it off in some way, shape or form. That said we should still be able to view the construction as and when it happens.

They've also bought the access road so it will be very private

at the moment, a significant stretch of the access road is the "stour valley way" - will be interesting seeing how fast the afcb players drive their stupid cars down that stretch!

Reading some of the objections on the BCP website, the NIMBY's seem to be concerned with the extra traffic. Do these people actually have brains!? Surely they realise this is going to be used mainly by the club and not by thousands of supporters rocking up on a match day!?

Any nimby not born or raised in this area should not have a voice on any developments within the area it's as simple as that, and anyone who can't live with that should be deported back to their hometown.

A bit more extreme but by that logic, should the West give up voicing concerns about Indonesia and Brazil burning down their forests as well?

Extra traffic ? I suspect that just as many people used to drive down there every day when it was a golf course, probably more at the w/ends.
