Harry Wilson

Most footballers are thick.

Despite being at his patent club's home ground and whatever the actual reason for putting the coat on, Harry Wilson should have realised that he'd likely pee off some AFCB fans.

EDITED TO ADD: Will there be a thorough investigation into the club's clothing loans and transfer policy?

I just don't think he's performed this season, despite his goals and not just him but a number of our players have kept there place despite constant poor performances, which is why we find ourselves in the relegation zone imo. I would be interested to know why you think we're down there? To be honest, I'm not that worried about the jacket incident but I do think it shows us a lack of respect.

No it doesn't, don't be so soft!

Neither has Fraser yet we lord him up as our saviour, as he said in February he fancies playing now! Was poor again Saturday but how dare Harry Wilson wear a Liverpool coat?
Yes, he's another one who performs when he wants and he admitted that, he will be playing in the premier league anyway next season. I wouldn't have Harry Wilson in the team that's all I'm saying, which has little to do with the jacket issue.

Oh dear - rolled my eyes when I saw 4 pages of comments about this.

But in this day and age of every other person desperately trying to get offended by something..anything..it's hardly surprising. Non story.
As with a lot of stories of this nature, not many people are actually offended, but lots of people get offended by those they think are offended. Then the clickbait media find out and even more people get offended by them saying people are offended!

Personally think he's done alright for us. Played championship football last season and has made the big jump up to the PL with relative ease. He's been chopped and changed, played a host different positions , dropped and and subbed but just got on with it. Hes not our player but has performed and acted professionally whilst at our club. He certainly hasn't come out and stated he didn't want to play for us like one of our own players has. I think we all know this is a one season hit with us and at the end of the season I'll thank him for his efforts and wish him the best in his career.

Agreed. The fact that he chose to comment about it and apologise for it ( although no apology was really necessary ) shows what a professional, decent lad he is.
We would be worse off without his goals. So far he has conducted himself very well in his time with us IMO.

In fairness it’s nearly 4 pages of people saying that they’re not bothered by it. :)

I would rephrase that to read " Most football fans are thick" as evidenced by this thread.

I’ve enjoyed watching him this season and I think he has done ok and battled in a team which has been struggling. If we had been comfortable and mid table like we were last season I think he could have looked closer to Brooks in terms of talent and potential. As it is I am very grateful for his goals, and dare I say it, if we stay up, maybe a permanent signing from Liverpool would be ok...maybe also sending Solanke back as part payment....

Don't disagree. Many fans are as thick as footballers.

However, it's worth noting that most football fans don't have advisors, agents, management, and other 'entourage' to 'guide' them...

That said, you never have to wait too long on here before someone's questioning how you support the team!

He certainly wouldn't be the worst signing from Liverpool!

Fuss about nothing with this, if or when H.Wilson needs to pull on the AFCB shirt again, I'm sure he'll do his best. He's not good enough to save us all by himself, but that's a different discussion.

Concerned about the pressure on Brooks. Too many people I speak to expect him to walk straight back into the first team and save our season.

Just bumping this, and specifically not to drag up the LFC coat issue again, but amongst all other issues completely unresolved right now, I wonder whether we have seen the end of Harry Wilson’s spell at AFCB.

I dont even know whether his loan would cover Project Restart if we get that far, but FWIW, I would like to record (again) that I enjoyed watching him play for us this season, and think he could fit in as a permanent signing, which I guess is wholly dependent on a lot of things including whether he wants to stay, whether he want him and many other variables, but probably most importantly which league we end up in when this is all over.

Wouldn't want him, cracking left foot but too lightweight imo.

Hopefully brooks will be fully fit when football resumes in what ever form division we are in And will not need him as Brooks is much more affective

Don't give a monkey's about coat-gate but he's a luxury player and we've moved on far better luxury players than him.
