Cardiff - The verdict

Dodgy first 25 minutes,
Playing out from the back was nerve wracking.
Tidy Solanke goal and a great 15 before half time.
2nd half start, we should have sealed it, total control.
Their goal preventable, just had to be Wilson.
Cracking free kick from Stan.
All very scrappy after that.
Most the possession, & all the stats showing we were the better side,
but the finishing on a few occasions was lacking.
The Invincibles roll on.
Nothing to grumble about in that showing.
Top marks to Stan and Smithy!

They were there for the taking.

Just unfortunate we ran out of minutes.

Positive performance, but a game we should have comfortably won.

I know a lot of people will probably jump straight into panic mode but I actually thought we played very well today, I am pleased after watching that, it seems like from an attacking perspective the team are really gelling to this new system. Loved seeing the fluidity of the forward players moving between the lines, like nothing we’ve seen under EH. It was just one lapse of concentration from Mepham and poor finishing from Solanke/bad luck that meant we didn’t pick up all three points. We created a lot from open play which was very pleasing.

agreed created quite a few chances and were unlucky .
The way we play we will make mistakes are the back

Yeah I agree....results like this are frustrating but the performance was there
.......did anyone notice we had a TWO man midfield?

“ like nothing we’ve seen under EH”

Maybe if you have a short memory?!

We used to have fluidity under Howe week in week out. It was only when we were lacking options and confidence that we looked lacklustre last season.

Used to throw numbers forward in the Championship flooding forward like the “red arrows” as Willo said, right up to two years ago when we were the top goal scorers in the Premier League outside of the top six.

We can praise Tindall without revisionist Howe rubbishing.
