Charlie Daniels

Elephant in the room.Did he actually mean to score from there(given nobody else to pass to)or just a time wasting plot?
 
It's strange to talk about nostalgia in respect of a player that was playing for us last season but it was such a train wreck of a year, in so many ways, the sight of him bombing down our wing as part of an attacking performance would be heart warming.

Having previously thought maybe it was time to say goodbye I'm now firmly in the camp that hopes he re-signs soon.

I don’t think Charlie does bomb down the wings much now but on the left side of a defensive 3 would be a very good option.

Think we are quite left sided in central defence, imho need one more option on the right side.
 
Wonder when anything will be announced on charlie and marc pugh. Surely they've decided if they will get a contract or not.

It could be that we are in a position to offer something but can’t guarantee regular football. If a club makes an approach with the offer of playing regularly we’ll pass them up but if not I’m sure we will do the deals

I spoke to Marc yesterday. He's hopeful of a deal, so it's down to Bournemouth to make an offer. Not sure what sort of contract it will be though, as he's financially committed to moving back up north next year.
 
Ok this sounds weird, but whenever I see Charlie Daniels name, I automatically think of Charlie Drake.

I can just see him belting down the touchline shouting “Hello my darlings” whilst avoiding the heavy, hairy arsed slugger that’s trying to take his legs away.


Alright, alright, I said it was weird.

I could have understood this if you'd said it was whenever you see Fraser racing down the wing - a gobby, short arsed idiot.
