Arnaut Danjuma

Like the way he speaks and responsibility he takes on and off camera. Love Steve Cook, but just a thought..... what do I know!

I personally think he needs to keep his feet on the ground. Clearly very talented and a vital player for us but lots of room for improvement, especially with his decision making. It’s great that he’s confident in his ability but I hope it doesn’t detract from efforts to address his many weaknesses.

Is the OP being serious? Captain-types give their all for their team in every game they play, regardless of their own individual performances. Granted he had a very good game today but I would go as far as to say that was the first time he’s played consistently well for 90 minutes since he joined the club. Another enigma. Dare I say it, maybe starting to play with an eye on a potential move close season

Hahaha. His Sky interview was hilarious.
Basically, he said he won the Man of the Match because he was the man of the match. Asked if he is in a great run of form, he said he has been playing great all season. And when told to take his trophy, he said he wondered why he has had to wait so long to get one. When asked how good Billings goal was he immediately turned it round to being all about him.
The boys got confidence, but perhaps no filter.

That’s not confidence, it’s cockyness (is that a word?) and it’s not endearing. Well, it would be if we were top of the league and he’d been on fire all season. Just another one of the prima donnas

Danjuma is a very talented footballer but the answer to your question should be in the way he plays - mainly as an individual, he can get past players, use trickery, pace and score goals but his stats this season would look alot better if he played with his head up and assisted his team-mates by playing as a team player. He reminds me alot of one of those 6 a side players who is the best on the team but simply won't play as a team and use his other resources, it's all about the glory being in on the score sheet or skinning a defender.

I would personally give the captain role to begovic because he looks like he genuinely cared to keep that clean sheet tonight and he isn’t afraid to have a go at other players!

That’s a very considered post Vlad, one of your most considered in fact. I’m wondering if someone may have hacked your account? ;):guns:
