Arnaut Danjuma

judging by his opinion of himself, Arnaut would be off in a shot if the chance for PL was dangled in front of him. I would advise the club to sell any player who wants away (for the right price of course) rather than end up in the Fraser...King situation again in future?...in fact at the end of the season the manager should sit them down and find out who is moody about being stuck at AFCB and who actually wants to put in the effort to gain success here!

Absolutely - if we've learned anything over the past 2 years, it's that when a player has made it clear that he thinks he's too good for AFCB, then he needs to go asap, rather than stink the place out.

Still wondering what Danjuma might be worth. £15 million, maybe a bit more ?

What did he say?

Something along the lines of "I never thought I'd be playing in the Championship, I'm more used to Champions League".

Great for team spirit, eh ?
He didn't say he wouldn't give his all though.

If its just **************** footballers with 'real spirit' you're looking for then I can volunteer my services.

I recall an "unedited" interview I saw a while back, afcbtv maybe, where he very carefully explained that he came to play in the PL, didnt expect relegation, but was determined to get afcb back this season. he refused to say what would happen if they didnt. I didnt, and dont, have a problem with his attitude at all, he's been open, honest, fully committed and a stand out performer!

At the end of the day it was the players that got us relegated through the results over 38 games.

If they want Premier League football, it’s their job to get the points over 46 games of this season to get us back up there either automatically or which is more likely via the play-offs.

If they want premiere league football they will just engineer moves via their agents in the summer. Has sod all to do with us going up or not

you don't think afcb being a PL team would make any difference to someone staying or not?

Danjuma was never anything but anonymous for us in the PL, the Dutch winger you refer to has a number of goals against top level opposition. Far more caps than Danjuma and like said above was kept on at PSV while Danjuma let go. But yes Danjuma is better lol
Wasn't he injured most of last season? What do you expect?
