Millwall v AFC Bournemouth - 4 To Go!

Great performance and credit to JW. I'm trying to think of anything approaching that in the last few years confidence wise and I'm struggling but accept different leagues. Defo best of the season.

Everyone had a real 'bounce' and swagger, even Rico, Stan and Smith looked like kids on Jelly beans when they came on.

Good times, take each game as it comes, nothing is guaranteed even the play offs...however for the first time this season I saw a team that might just hold their own. Fingers crossed but hell what a performance.

It's funny because there were still the same sloppy mistakes but now they seem to just shug them off and go again. Before their shoulders would drop if a throw in didn't go their way. As you say that was under Howe as well as JT.

The 45 minutes against Reading where we blitzed them this season was a good watch, as was the 4-0 against Barnsley and the away game at Coventry.

Otherwise the 4-0 against Chelsea or the 5-0 against Brighton in 2019.

Easier to do at 3-0 granted but yes, the fragile mindset of this squad has been its achillies heel for the past couple of years.

With confidence they can do anything. But they were mentally so fragile. In the midst of seven consecutive victories. That’s gone.

Is that Woodgate? Is that the on pitch leader we’ve been lacking with Ben Pearson marshalling the middle of the park, even the calming influence of CCV? Or the ego of Danjuma? Who knows, a combination of all the above, whatever it is, bottle it for the next 6 games and we can moan about VAR next season.

Reading was 45 mins as you say not 90, the Barnsley performance was edgy despite the score line and Cov was nothing like this. Chelsea walked all over us and we robbed them at every turn. Brighton probably the closest.

Agree with that except the Chelsea game. They had about 90%possession in the first half but our defence was uncharacteristically good, second half we took the piss

Great to see you back!

I agree, confidence is flowing which augers well for the next three games and beyond.
