Stay or go

...all go, time to change some of the faces at AFCB and bring in hungry talent who want to commit

I would expect to see all these below to be off too as they will be 'looked at' by PL clubs seeking a bargain or two!

Danjuma
Lerma
Rico
Brooks
Billing
Riquelme (finished loan)
Kelly

I don’t think all of them will go . I think if we could keep billing and brooks .
I think brooks hasn’t been great at all this season but in the least 4-6 he has had more glimpses of what he is all about

It’s a tough one. I’m indifferent to Stanislas going purely due to his injury issues. Smith we have an able back up in Stacey but hopefully he will stay but it’s not really the end of the world if he goes.

Wilshere I would like to see stay, not sure where his head is at, he came to train and got a contract; will a PL team snap him up? Probably not. Did he expect to play more games even though 6 months ago he was running around a local park. Who knows. He loves the area and seems to love the club.

I read that terms have been offered to junior and adam smith already but they've not signed, so the intention is to keep them

Am I the only one who wouldn't be sad to see Smithy go ? I always rated him, a versatile player to have in the squad but for the past couple of seasons his play has really frustrated me. He falls over at the slightest contact and seems to spend half of every game with his mouth open, arms in the air, remonstrating with the referee. I also think, on the footballing side, that his levels have dropped considerably. I don't recall too many surging runs down the wing followed by a decent final ball in recent years. I very much feel as though he is a player on the wane and when you add his at times petulant and unsporting behaviour to that, I'm not sure we should be selling the farm to keep him on. So hopefully the contract we've offered him is a sensible one ! Personally I wouldn't be desperate to keep him at anything like his old wage. If he's cheap enough then I'll admit that it would make sense to have him as a squad player for another season.

...I suppose so much will rest with who the club decide will be the manager?

IF we went high profile then players may want to stay and take in the exeperience, also there will be clubs in the lower regions of the Prem lookinga around for some proven PL types like Begovic,Billing,Smith,Stanislas,Brooks,Lerma, and certainly Danjuma (who is probably our most valuable asset?)...Kelly will be an interesting one as he has not really had much PL gametime...

I would love to keep Adam Smith but keeping Stanislas would be mistake imo, good on his day but far too injury-prone

I would keep them all except:

Wilshere - not made that much of a contribution.
Solanke - not the 20+ goal striker we need in the second tier.
Lerma and Rico - seem to have lost their way, Jeff especially.
Billing - that is the one that strolls aimlessly around the pitch. The committed, effective and mobile Phil Bill, I would keep. As they are one and the same person, then it has to be bye bye Billing.
Riquelme - (not offered terms) we haven't got room for a player who is talented but isn't suited to the rough and tumble of English football.
AN Other - who cannot prove their fitness. No room for sentimentality.

It isn't my choice, though. The new management will decide and maybe, hopefully, (please!) they will have a plan to get the most out of the players who do stay.
