Scott Parker

In one of your other posts you said Fulham want to sack him but were waiting given that it became apparent you could get compensation from his move to Bournemouth. I assume the breakdown in talks means you’ll now be sacking him this week?
It seems the hierarchy are willing to back him with funds now in an attempt to get us back up. Apparently the plan is to bring in an additional attacking coach for him and will back him with funds. That’s a assuming that Bournemouth don’t have a change of heart and stump up the funds for Parker’s staff

More an issue that we’d have to pay up our own staff as well if we were to bring all Parker’s in I imagine.

So in the space of just a few weeks and during a period of no games, your board has gone from wanting to sack him, to deciding that you’d hold off in order to get compensation, to now deciding to keep him and give him a transfer kitty? And in addition, they’ve decided to make all of those decisions public knowledge via leaks.

If that’s true then no wonder the poor bloke wants out. Makes our board look almost professional.

there’s nothing professional about our back room staff. The DOF is a wrestling promoter, the only saving grace seems to be that Steve Walsh is coming in to take over the recruitment. The background is awful

All sorts going on at West Brom in their search for a manager.

They thought about Wilder but decided against, went after Wagner but talks broke down, and Lincoln boss Michael Appleton has reportedly turned the job down. The Director of Football has left now:

So it's not just us struggling with all this. But just think, if we could only get our house in order, we could have the jump on a perennial yo-yo challenger like WBA.

Wow not good there then! Thought Wilder would have ended up there.

If he quits are we going to end up getting him for free then :D
Guessing its just been a lot of haggling. What happens with our and their backroom staff will be an interesting angle to it.

if we’ve waited and waited for him to leave fulham first and in doing so avoided paying millions then waiting and waiting will have been a cunning plan
