Lewis Cook

I hope that Lewis carries on his great form from last season into the PL and regains his place in the England squad. No one deserves it more than him after overcoming two crippling injuries that would have mentally destroyed many others, and then returning back to his best on the pitch.

Imagine Lewis Cook and Rice in midfield for England!!

Meanwhile, Junior Stanislas has agreed an exclusive seven season deal to document his return from injury.

In all seriousness, Lewis is great and I'm looking forward to watching this.

I know how our fans go on about Stans injuries, but Lewis has been plagued with injuries too.
Stan signed 2014 played 155 games in 8 seasons.
Lewis signed 2016 played 134 games in 6 seasons.
Two of our better players without doubt.
Lets hope they can both stay fit and get to play many games next season.

This documentary, I’m not sure why it’s been released on YouTube only with such a fanfare - isn’t it the exact same one that was on AFCBTV at the start of last season but then taken down a couple of months ago?

Watched half so far, and I feel for Lewis, since he played that game for England it's gone very much against him and he hasn't been able to fulfill his potential consistently here. thankfully he has good family and gf around him and the South African doctor at the club knew how to handle a setback like that for him for a 2nd time.
When you have a real nasty pain (normal people it would be toothache or breaking a bone where you are given anti-biotix or strong painkiller out of necessity because you can't continue without them) then should he really be on just paracetamol after a serious ACL just because he's a sportsman, no and that;s where sports and painkillers often collide because of all the past nonsense with doping and the lack of knowledge to distinguish someone treating an ailment or someone taking something because it gives them a superior advantage. Paracetamol is almost a placebo as much as a painkiller given out over the counter for the minor discomforts a person may have.

Im not sure how it could have been online at the start of last season when the majority of the footage came from during the season? Including our promotion from a month ago?

He has had two ACL,s plus a long awkward ankle injury during his first season with us back in 2016/17.

I haven’t watched it yet, although I recognise some of the footage in the trailer. It must be a revamped and improved version of what was released before

I also remember something being released or hinting at being released before, maybe it was just a teaser but hats off to the media guys if they held it back and kept adding to the story - premier league return is a great way to cap it off!

There is re-used footage from the training camp, where he clearly says this is for the documentary about my injury (chat with Pearlo). Apart from that, the rest of the footage is brand new and unseen before I believe.
