Any post involving the words St Etienne and going down will always get my attention.
Ah....................Sarah Cracknell.....
That'll keep us in our places.
We haven't yet reached the stage of rival gangs of supporters having free fights on the pitch and/or in the stands, but it's something you must be looking forward to? We know it's coming unless they take action to stop it.That'll keep us in our places.
The Premier League is a top-class visual entertainment product for television and we can't have actual supporters showing passion.
I have! At Burton and at DC a couple of times. The world didn’t end.Is there something wrong with my brain....I cannot fathom how fans cannot fathom how they could show passion in a stand or on a terrace after a club has won promotion ..instead of stampeding and rampaging across the Playing area.
A good example is a film on utube of Hibs fans celebrating beating Rangers in the 2012 Scots Cup Final..they stood for ages singing their anthem loudly and waving scarfs.
Pitch invasions are just plain stupid, idiotic and uncivilised.. it doesn't happen in Rugby, Baseball, Sumo Wrestling, Athletics, Table Tennis or Ice Hockey...and I don't think in Cricket. !
I ain't never done it...what's the point when you have Kings Park to throw yourself about in !

Not Tranmere? Plastic!
Plenty of cricket pitchies I can think of, especially the Botham era Ashes Tests against Australia. Is there something wrong with my brain....I cannot fathom how fans cannot fathom how they could show passion in a stand or on a terrace after a club has won promotion ..instead of stampeding and rampaging across the Playing area.

I had some dumbass Tranmere fans kicking up a fuss because I was trying to get on the pitch! Not Tranmere? Plastic!
In the old days everyone walked on the pitch at lunch and tea intervals to inspect the wicket or to have their own games of cricket on the outfield. Some counties still allow it, we strolled on at the Oval at tea during a Surrey v Hants game 3 years ago.At the Rose Bowl last weekend we had Kris Temple constantly reminding us not to invade the pitch.

Firstly, he didn't need to, you lot were all running over to see Rob : )
Secondly, did you see the state of that pitch? It would have been like going onto Bournemouth beach : )
