    So… best game ever?

From the list I go Bolton. Fantastic as those Prem wins are, for me I’ve always enjoyed the journey more than the destination. For my own list the one I always come back to is the Walsall AWS semi, though appreciate it won’t get many votes. Frank Rolling scoring the winner (pretty sure he got...

All fair points. The way I see AI’s system is it would need prime Kante to succeed right now. We are way too easy to play through and the CDM is exposed with multiple runners. Lerma would have covered the ground better for sure, but still wouldn’t be enough given how exposed we are.

Thought I would share this from the Sky Sports preview pre-Wolves: “Bournemouth have had the most passes completed between the lines against them this season, which suggests their press isn't working as effectively as it should.” To be fair we have played a good number of the stronger teams...

    Wolves tickets.

Yep, and consequently some will go to the not so long standing supporters / touts / away supporters.

I just had a look for you using my Dad's ticket account and they are the expensive £130 tickets.

Twice in the same half if my memory cells serve me correctly? I can remember the South End loving it!!

    Non Laser Eye Surgery

I had it done 11 years ago, probably the best thing I spent money on - to be able to get up and see first thing in the morning without the need for glasses / contacts was incredible. One thing I would say is I have found it has made my eyes more sensitive to bright lights.

For me I think a number of our supporters expectations vs quality and depth of the squad are a little over the top. Whether a reasonable barometer or not is debateable but look who the bookies and "media experts" consistently tipped for relegation. It was always AFCB. The lack of quality to...

    Post-match thoughts v Spurs

One of the great Prem away days! Pre-game in a Spurs pub to meet a mate having to listen to Spurs fans thinking they were going to walk all over little old Bournemouth. The ref bias wasn’t even subtle, it was appalling. We nearly suffered the same fate as Brighton, it almost looks corrupt...

Your Top 5 Eddie Howe Moments

Aside from all those mentioned his goal in the FA Cup 3rd round 1-0 win against West Brom in 1999. As a young lad I remember being hugely excited on the South End that day!!

    Recruitment war- Parker vs Demin

The evidence so far suggests that the strategy was to get promoted, and rebalance the books including starting the training ground to get some of that tangible Premier League era legacy that some of us wanted. I don’t think the strategy ever included another massive outlay to ensure Premier...

Promotion v Bolton or Promotion v Forest ?

Bolton for the journey of supporting AFCB for 20 years and never thinking I would see us reach the Prem when standing on the old South End. It was the most emotional I have been at a game. Forest for the drama and tension of one game with so much riding on it for both sides. I don't recall ever...

    Thoughts v Reading

Agree with a lot of comments on here. In addition we look like a mentally fragile team to me, confidence gets knocked very easily and we most likely (am assuming, but clearly don't know this for sure) don't have the leaders to drag us through, which results in a collective drop off in...
