Yep! We might well have. Dad was Foreman of Signals at Blandford & we left about 95-96.

    Non- Moving day

I remember those boxes! I think my Dad still has a couple in the loft. Haha I imagine that was strange- walking back into school after having dropped the mic. We were in Germany a couple of times. Had a few friends who I thought I'd never see again, until their Dads got posted to the same place...

    Non- Moving day

I grew up as an army kid, moving roughly every 2 years. My son also lived at 10 different addresses by the time he was 8. I have it down to a military operation nowadays. I don't get the same level of stress that others do, I don't accumulate so much and I can find the life laundry aspects &...

    VAR

The issue with human error is always that by allowing it, you also create an opportunity for bias. Something that we saw extensively pre-VAR and continue to see after it. If you don't/ can't minimise human error through measurable & automatable means (e.g. goal line technology and automated...

Aston Villa v AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 3 pm

Still enough game changers on the bench though.

    Premier League 23/24

They're not the team they were. Injuries and fatigue have caught up with them. Their squad depth has always been poor for the PL. But their first XI when fit was extremely competitive.

    Hahahaha - FA Cup

Thought exactly the same. Just shows once and for all that they make it up as they go along. Both the refereeing and the punditry.

Support the players no matter what tomorrow

Agree with the sentiment but it's not about players not wanting to play football. It's about them wanting away to a club whose own fans might not abuse them. Most have been at clubs previously where they have not been abused. Case in point is Kelly who has all the qualities to be a top class...

Garth Crooks team of the week

Agreed but he scored 2 goals as a midfielder in a team that played like doo doo. His defensive contribution was decent too. You could make the opposite argument that he'd have played better had his team mates linked up better. Statistically the best player overall on who scored. None of these...

Garth Crooks team of the week

To be fair, although we were the better team- Fernandes did carry them to the draw. I don't think any of our players individually stood out more than those listed, for their positions.

The only way to offer real customer choice is to get out of exclusivity contracts. Something we need to be doing as we become less tinpot. I'd love Way Outback or someone similar to have a pop up bar at the ground.

    Big club bias

Great summary. Officiating aside there is still plenty to build on and more to come from this group of players you feel. All this despite what could still be our most successful ever season in the PL and a brand of football that's exciting to watch.

    Big club bias

If we don't get an apology I presume he will now be suspended after his "clear and obvious error" in awarding us a penalty.
