Scott Sinclair, Kieran Tierney, and now Callum McGregor is being linked.

Now, accepting that probably all are unlikely, my train of thought is if we did land all 3..

1. A ready made trio of players who would gel right away as they know each other.
2. No AFCB fan could safely walk the street of Glasgow ever again.
 
Dembele and Rogic would complete the set of squirrels, anyone would think TheRFC need to boost ST sales after recent results and looking hard pushed to finish 2nd.

Boyata or Simonivic as cb options worth considering?
 
When being interviewed the other day it came up about players from North of the border.

Eddie I believe has contacts there as his brother played in Scotland.

Wonder if this is just regurgitating news or if this looks like it has some substance as so much time has passed?

4. We'd walk the Scottish pl next year...
 
The only reason to try and sign Tierney now would be if he's seen as a Bale type who should be pushed further forward. That part feels like an extremely lazy link and makes me doubt there being anything in the rest of it.

Best not pay any attention to transfer gossip until one sees the player at Dean Court in a picture with Eddie and holding up a bournemouth shirt.
 
As much as we need a central midfielder and/or right back, I would be surprised if we pull off any long term, big money moves in Jan. Those deals take a lot of putting together and unless we're already in advanced talks with a club, it's not gonig to happen in time. In this example, Celtic would want to replace McGregor before agreeing to sell, even if the price was right for them. Again only the summer allows time for all that.

January will more likely be a case of going around the top 6 and looking for a 6 month loan midfielder or right back. At most we'll reignite talks with an already established target like Mepham (although he's had a poor season so far from what bits I've seen).
