Charlie Daniels

My memory is terrible, which knee did he do last time?

Fingers crossed for positive news in the next few days.

Reported as a suspected dislocated kneecap......guess it then depends on any damage around the knee,,,,but is that better news than if it was an ACL?

Horrible to see him go down, in his interview just before the game he was saying how pleased he was to be back, a few weeks ahead of schedule. Did see him on crutches with about 10 minutes left, hopefully that it a better omen than having to go straight to hospital.

I dislocated my knee quite a few years ago. It's not that bad an injury, I was playing football again (simple kickabout\training) 5 or so weeks later. That's without the awesome treatment they get. So hopefully it's a 'simple' dislocation.

Adam Smith had a dislocated kneecap last season and was out for about 6 weeks. I also remember Eddie doing his kneecap not long after he got into our first team as a youngster. That was about 5 weeks I think.

So IF this is the diagnosis, it might not be as bad as we first feared. Bizarrely, being stretched off might be a good thing. If it’s an ACL, often you hobble off then find it’s more serious later on.

I think ACL's don't swell, either.

Fingers crossed its not that serious, maybe a bit like smiths injury, at first it looked like a long time out but as you say it was only weeks..
