Just get on with it so the new manager can build the team for next season ,the board have had long enough to sort this out .
The thing is that the club need to act as if they know where they are going to give the new manager a chance whomever they mat be.

Entirely agree. He just needs to agree to resign like every other person would, make sure he is free to take another job and then get paid up until the end of his contract and then start getting paid when he starts his new job. If he can't negotiate that with Fulham then what does that say.

If it's more important for him to get some pay off than get going with a new job, he's getting off on the wrong foot for me!

Frankly we could pick the team on here every week and it wouldn't make much difference if the option is a hefty salary and wasted money on compo rather spend it on players.

No they're known for their high press ....high energy attacking football......give me that any day over slow mind numbing build up play which if you're very lucky results in someone actually having a shot.

I would also prefer Ishmael over Parker any day of the week. Have given up expecting our board to do anything closely resembling competent though. Not worth getting wound up about. It’s pretty clear that Eddie carried them for years and that they are out of their depth from a footballing perspective. What can we do? It is what it is.

It's mentioned a few pages back that if he resigns and joins another club for the duration that remained on his contract, the club would still get the compensation.

Also do you not think the 'right' manager makes a difference?

Yeah that never happened to Eddie i suppose....lol........they are also known for finishing above much more talented squads!........something else Eddie was also known for.
Can you say the same for Parker?
 
Peter Rutzler has just said that AFCB and Fulham are now in discussions over compo again, like I said. I understand AFCB wanted fulham and Parker to come to a mutual termination, however, they haven’t been able to do so which pushes the cost us for AFCB

As I mentioned earlier, Parker I think appeals to the board because, on paper at least, his style of play is more the fabled “Bournemouth way”.
This seems to be a rare occasion where the board are trying to do right by the fans, yet somehow they are still getting stick for it !

I think it’s naive in the extreme to imagine our board giving a fig about what us fans want or think.
