Why would Parker want to downgrade to a 11,000 capacity from a club who can play to 25,000..a much bigger club with surely more 'clout' for attracting players.
The only thing I guess is a bigger salary....
I'm not sure this is a good fit....if indeed there is any truth in the reporting of all this hoohah!

Slightly different subject but in the end I notice this with Southgate and England and people around me saying he just isn’t good enough...so I asked...."who else is there?" which was followed by an uncomfortable silence. Then I mentioned that if we agree the foreign manager of England project didnt work the only six English managers to win trophies since the EPL started, Ron Atkinson, Joe Royal, Roy Evans, Harry Redknapp, Brian Kidd and Steve McLaren...more uncomfortable silence.

It's no good people whining about the Board not coming up with good enough managers if they really don't reasonably exist. I have yet to see a real force behind any single manager on this forum so why do we think its so easy to look beyond Woodgate and magic someone up. Every day that goes by since Eddie left has made me appreciate more and more that we had him for ten years and then miss him being here even more than that. You never know what you’ve got......

The longer Scott Parker remains at the club, the more difficult building a successful team next season becomes.

That applies to AFCB too. How many of our players are waiting to see who the new manager is going to be before they stick a transfer request in? Newcastle and Fulham are already after CCV.

Because players and managers don't give a toss how many seats the ground holds. Why would they?

How far down the long list of priorities is that likely to be? Wages, transfer budget, board interference, working conditions, location, etc. etc. I'd be surprised if stadium size has ever swung a manager's decision.
