Junior Stanislas

Fantastic news. I‘m a lot more comfortable about Danjuma leaving. Hopefully the new physio team will help him stay injury free.

Great news. TWO years as well ! Nice one. FFS stay fit Stan and don't get into any more fights with Sudge !
Presumably his new favourite sparring partner will be Marcondes ? Wasn't he looking forward to taking responsibility for free kicks ? Oh dear ! The gloves are off ! Ding ding ! Round 1:punch:

A stay fit Stan will be a huge plus to our chances next season. It is also nice to see that 2 of the 3 "new" signings have been forward looking players. Let's focus on scoring more than them!!

Excellent news. Fantastic player on his day, as shown by the montage on COWS. If Anthony can make the step-up we hope he will then we're not looking to bad up top in my opinion.

Great news.

BUT, has missed most of pre season now obviously holding out for a better deal elsewhere. hopefully he can have an injury free season
Unlikely to be injury free without the important conditioning work undertaken in pre season. Be interesting to understand what work he had been doing.

Ever since Stan's goal v West Brom several years ago, I can't help thinking his free kicks have been overrated. We get maybe 2 a season that are near-misses? As for corners, we know they hit the first man more often than not. Would certainly be happy to see Marcondes given a crack at them.

Still as a left winger and finisher in open play, Stan is a good option at this level and adds a bit more weight to our squad. Experience and versatility. Would like to see more of Anthony on that left side as well though.

Between those two it frees up Marcondes to play centrally (I assume Danjuma won't be with us).

Can’t believe people are criticising the guy tbh. Do people who are criticising his actions understand that football is how he makes his living? What is wrong with him waiting it out to see if a better offer came in? I’d never criticise a player for not signing a contract, even in the case of Fraser never felt any bad blood towards him in terms of his decision not to sign, they are entitled to do what they want. It is committing to a contact and then downing tools the moment you decide you are too good for us that I have an issue with.

You can’t compare Fraser and Stanislas. You can’t justify Fraser refusing to play the final 9 games of the season to stay injury free to sign elsewhere and could have ultimately kept us up.

Stanislas says he always wanted to be here, great, he’s here now for 2 years let’s hope he plays as many games as last season
