Junior Stanislas

Great news, he is quality when he's injury free, creative and can score goals.

He was most probably also assessing Parker and his methods before he signed.

We need creativity, because Brookes aside we don't have a great deal at the moment.

When are we signing a striker?

Depends whether it was as a back up to or starter in place of anthony or kilkenny.

Interesting to see if parker can add tracking back to his game or uses him as a luxury player. Hopefully like smith he can prove that he is PL quality consistently.

...useful squad player for a mid table Championship side....so saves us looking elsewhere I suppose....I think that the likes of Anthony..Taylor and Kilkenny will be more prominent over the season hopefully?

tbh...would rather we had Ritchie back though!

blimey, watching back his goals collection is quite emotional! some truly great goals, fantastic team play, some great moments from other past heroes, and some amazing games. he certainly has been a quality player.... when fit.

Surely there are never tiffs between players, I thought they all stood around holding hands and saying nice things to each other, NOT? They are no different from any other part of society, they have opinions and feelings and disagreements will happen from time to time. Water under the bridge, let it go.

... then dont come out and say that you are there to help the development of the young players after berating one on the pitch in a very unprofessional manner. It was an embarrasing display from Stan.

He done what he done with surridge and people are going way over the top with it, to the point they don’t like him cos of that moment .
People have very short memories . Pre Christmas our most important attacking player, post Christmas was danjuma .
People say about his injury record , but last season it wasn’t that bad at all

liking or disliking is irrelevant, it was an embarrassment
he did well last season but that's one in seven he's not missed most of it through injury

We all have our opinions of course but in my opinion you are going over the top

You are entitled to your opinion, fair enough - but whatever your opinion dont presume to tell me I'm going over the top - that is passive aggressive - just agree to disagree and we'll leave it at that

If Surridge took that tone and position there wouldn’t have been much of an issue to blame Stanislas for... :)

The reaction from some on here to the Surridge fracas definitely seemed a bit overblown, especially considering that it was so out of character from him.
Watching the last Spain friendly - surridge could fall out with air. I thought I was still watching Stockley in friendlies and his desire to get sent off

He has a history of injuries as we all know . Last season was pretty good injury wise for him .
The incident happens players want to win, I doubt either player was bothered about it afterwards.
My point was his goals and assists and attacking play in the first half of the season was very good for us.
