B@stard.Don’t like him… it’s his fault we got relegated by one point…
On 18 June 2020, Nyland was involved in a controversy after he appeared to carry the ball across the goal line after saving a free kick from Oliver Norwood and colliding with one of his own defenders. Because of interference with the Hawk-Eye goal line technology, play was allowed to continue and Sheffield Unitedwas denied a goal.[24]

In his interview on COWS he does apologise for that and says that the best way to make amends is to ensure that AFCB return to the PL.B@stard.
Yes, it does sound as though we signed him to help with Travers' development for a season and as a capable replacement should Travers get injured or suffer a loss of form. Sounds fair enough. We probably need to think of Nyland more as a player/coach in the current setup.Think this is a good, though not amazing, signing. We needed more depth and experience in our goalkeepers and that's exactly what he provides. Not a Begovic replacement, but we weren't likely to find someone of his quality in our price range. Seems like Travers will stay #1, have an experienced head to learn from, and be a solid backup in case of any injuries/severe drops in form.
