Joanna Lumley was on my flight from Heathrow to Glasgow many moons ago …
Motörhead and their roadies were on our flight to Hamburg for a stag do - joined us for the first night ( the roadies , not Lemmy) !
Richard Branson got in my lift at Gatwick back in ‘91 and I saw Mark Lawrenson at Heathrow too ….

I was once in a queue to pay for petrol and Neil Young and Ian Cox were in front of me...

Got in a lift in a hotel in London only to be joined by Chris Waddle and Mark Bright. (Chatted with Mrs Gascoigne in the jacuzzi, without knowing who she was)
 
Hamburg: my god I don't even want to think about what went on that weekend. Maybe Snoots can knock together a bit of fan fiction though.

Missus saw a bloke in AFCB kit in Wallisdown Subway.
Asked him what he thought of the new management team.He did that thing where you put your hand out and wiggled it about indicating 'We'll see'.
Next home game looked in the matchday programme and she said "that's him"

Turns out It was only Paul Groves!!!!

If Cookie's time is done at Boscombe..then Christ...that's OK...because we know..and he know..that his time and contribution to this clubs History probably outstrips that of McDougal, Boyer..Pugh and Pitman and several others from the Kinghorn/Lowe/ Cox/ Bond /Redknapp/Machin/O'Driftcoll/ Howe and other Era's....
The guy was Red & Black..incorporating Flak...f√cking Tribal !
Maybe..even ...too good for this club!

I saw him at Hamburg Airport in the early eighties looking around the duty free. I walked up behind him and said " alright Bobby ?". He literally dropped his shopping, magazines and boiled sweets everywhere. Bit of a miserable git if you ask me.
