Sir Garfield Sobers at The Cliff restaurant in Barbados. Coincidentally, also saw Jean Beliveau, Montreal Canadiens legend, at the same restaurant (different night).
I don't know whether Parker and Cahill are friends from the England days but it could be that he's asked Cahill to come down south and tutor the kids and as others have said possibly move into some form of coaching role in the future.
You're absolutely right about the appearances and if he's looked after himself the way that players do nowadays then he could have a couple of good years left.
Unconfirmed rumours but I've heard he's been told to find a new club.
Don’t Brighton have something like a 50% sell on clause for Steve Cook? If that’s the case I can’t see him going anywhere other than the Amex. Have they bought anyone to backfill for Ben White?
If these rumours are true then what a sad way for his journey with us to end. I have heard that he threw his toys out when purchy, moss etc were given the push and losing the captaincy kind of confirms it as far as I can see.
Actually also Brian Lara on flight to sardinia, mo farah flying back from Turkey wearing a fake gucci t shirt, and David Haye in a pub in surbiton.
Joanna Lumley was on my flight from Heathrow to Glasgow many moons ago …
Motörhead and their roadies were on our flight to Hamburg for a stag do - joined us for the first night ( the roadies , not Lemmy) !
Richard Branson got in my lift at Gatwick back in ‘91 and I saw Mark Lawrenson at Heathrow too ….

Not quite the same as the Brasshouse, though…..Sir Garfield Sobers at The Cliff restaurant in Barbados. Coincidentally, also saw Jean Beliveau, Montreal Canadiens legend, at the same restaurant (different night).
Sorry, not had the pleasure. 4.1 on Google reviews, 3.5 on TripAdvisor, so can't be all bad.Not quite the same as the Brasshouse, though…..
Missus saw a bloke in AFCB kit in Wallisdown Subway.
Asked him what he thought of the new management team.He did that thing where you put your hand out and wiggled it about indicating 'We'll see'.
Next home game looked in the matchday programme and she said "that's him"
Turns out It was only Paul Groves!!!!
I saw Russell Perritt yesterday outside my house.I saw Bobby Charlton at the Avis desk at Heathrow about 15 years ago.
I kinda think anything on Barbados would beat the Brasshouse, thoughSorry, not had the pleasure. 4.1 on Google reviews, 3.5 on TripAdvisor, so can't be all bad.
I saw him at Hamburg Airport in the early eighties looking around the duty free. I walked up behind him and said " alright Bobby ?". He literally dropped his shopping, magazines and boiled sweets everywhere. Bit of a miserable git if you ask me.I saw Bobby Charlton at the Avis desk at Heathrow about 15 years ago.
I mentioned that on a post the other week. Would seem a good fit for those concerned. Hope not though.Don’t Brighton have something like a 50% sell on clause for Steve Cook? If that’s the case I can’t see him going anywhere other than the Amex. Have they bought anyone to backfill for Ben White?
