The fact West Ham were, along with I think Leicester, voted with the big six to try and increase the share of revenue from international tv rights for the top clubs tells you were their owners think they are.

It must be hard to always believe you're one of the big teams only to then face the crushing reality that you're nothing more than a mid-table team at best and always will be. Even being subsidised by the UK tax payer isn't enough to boost them beyond that. Year after year believing they will...

AFCB refuse to allow charity collection from West Ham fan

A blanket ban on charity collection. Classy. I guess it's ok as there's no history of anyone collecting money outside the stadium. Oh, hang on...

AFCB refuse to allow charity collection from West Ham fan

Hmm. Seems he completely accepts the reason for no collection outside the ground as other charities are in place there but is a disappointed that he can't collect in the away area since there are no collectors from the AFCB nominated charities there. One of only four clubs to have refused...

Given the numbers they were allegedly bandying about in the summer, that would seem a good price.

    bid for Chris Mepham

Short of signing a £30 million CB then we aren't likely to sign someone that will immediately displace Cook or Ake. I think we all know we won't be spending that on a CB right now. Mepham is a player we've chased for some time so obviously believe he can make the step up and improve us over...

    Wilson

Spurs and Chelsea are both in with a very strong chance of winning something in the next five years. West Ham would be an outset bet at maybe picking up a cup. Medals are something that players value from their career. If he went to Chelsea and smashed in a a bunch of goals in the second half...

Last season he was playing right sided CB. I've seen on the other thread DJ mentioned this season he's playing on the left side but that may be because they have the opposite issue we have with CBs.

    January transfer window

I know nothing about the player except what it says in the article and there it states he's a RB so probably wouldn't be an option to fill in for Cook anyway. Unless he's a versatile player. We might need another recruit at the back and Mepham seems the obvious candidate given our historical...

    January transfer window

Given Clyne is unlikely to be a permanent option this is a link that would actually make sense come summer. Not this window though.
