I get that but if they go for a judicial review based on process this will hold up the granting of the entirety of the permission including these corners. I don't think the residents have a leg to stand on legally but will be glad when the date they can submit a challenge by has passed.

The filling in of two of the corners, which is happening this summer, is part of the recently passed planning application, any judicial review could potentially affect this. That being said I think the grounds for a review will be minimal, if any, and the cost completely prohibitive so unlikely...

That may be the case but unless there are public transport options that provide a reasonable alternative in terms of time and cost then people will always choose the car.

There maybe some people who drive to games on their own but there are definitely groups of friends or families that travel together. The way it stands now public transport will always work out the far more expensive option for groups like this.

Totally agree, The controlled parking zone will also create a new problem by moving those that currently park around the stadium into streets further away. People who live in the streets immediately around the stadium have always had football parking so don't understand why this has suddenly...

So the current councillor wants controlled parking within 1.5 km of the ground, I live within that radius and definitely don't want the hassle of permit parking. I can't imagine my neighbours do either. Totally over the top to manage a couple of hours parking on 25 or so days
