    Dean Court Redevelopment

Whilst proudly proclaiming that still no brick has been laid and that he was right all along ! :p

    Marcos Senesi

:p But he has surely been called up based on form ? He has no form with Spurs, only with AFCB. I’m seeing this as another AFCB win, regardless ! recently/soon to be ex-:utc:

    FIFA and release clauses

Exactly. If an astronomical release clause is all that’s on offer, the players and their agents will just accept it. As long as all of the desirable clubs in the league do exactly the same thing, the release clause no longer has much significance in contract negotiations. I would actually prefer...

    Matt Ritchie - Technical Director

Plus he can move stuff about in a rental lorry if required. That capability shouldn’t be underestimated ! Good luck to you Matt, I’m sure you will prove your worth to the naysayers on here !

    Matt Ritchie - Technical Director

If Farage expires, you can be fairly sure that Neil Moss had something to do with it, somewhere along the line, so it's all good ! :p

    Matt Ritchie - Technical Director

Or Zubar. He's probably still on the payroll anyway, so a cost neutral hire. :slap:

    Alex Scott

Semenyo's last contract extension ( Summer 2025 ) had a release clause, active immediately, which was then triggered by City in the following window, after the valuation became widely known. You would think that we would try to give Scott an extension with a release clause which activates next...

    Matt Ritchie - Technical Director

Can't go too far wrong doing that ! It's an approach that I have adopted in my personal life too ! Car won't start - blame Neil Moss Fridge just expired - blame Neil Moss The cat just did a whoopsie on the carpet - blame Neil Moss Working well for me so far !

    Matt Ritchie - Technical Director

I'm with you ! I don't think that any of us saw this one coming but the club seem to know what they are doing. I shall defer to them. With Pinto mentoring him, he will have easy access to any help that he needs in this new role.

    Formula 1

Dramatic event, perhaps. A motor race ? No. As usual at Monaco. At least the stewards were awake today. Must be some strong coffee in Monaco. Can’t wait for Madrid, a circuit apparently designed from scratch to make overtaking impossible. Why do they do it ? Madrid will go the same way as...

    Marcos Senesi

He didn’t steal any from Rayo when he came to us. Even the one guy he did want to take with him ended up staying there ! :p

    Formula 1

Genius ! First circuit of the year where the cars are not electrical energy limited and all of the drivers have smiles on their faces because for the first time this season they could push to the limit for the entire lap. Who’d have thought it ? Shame that the race will be the usual snooze...

I clicked on this thinking it might be transfer speculation. I blame Ben Gannon-Doak !

    Benchmark expectations for next season

That’s a fair point. Crazy to think that AFCB and English football are now at a level whereby statistically AFCB might well be more likely to win something in Europe than in any domestic competition ! It’s a bit weird !
