I’ve not listened to Vallance or Witty for months. I simply look at the graphs I posted in my link. Your stat about 50k flu deaths 2 years ago has been shown to be not true either but since you aren’t going to be convinced by evidence then there’s no point

OK fair enough although wasn’t really clear from how you posted it. Then my comments are aimed at that person not you

    Non - Pandemic

No not true. Take a look at the rolling 7 day average graph https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/ Cases started to flatten in October. About the time we introduced the initial tier system. Then by mid November there is a big drop in cases. Surely not a coincidence this comes...

If you want someone to blame for lack of stadium or training ground then blame Max but I guess that doesn’t fit the narrative. Not sure what exactly was “leaked” either since it was on social media but I guess we must try hard to find a scandal somewhere.

No this isn’t true. In the PL teams press with far more intensity and organisation. I can accept his lack of technical ability hinders him moving the ball quickly when under pressure but he can get away with it more at Championship level. Gosling strength is timing his runs to arrive in the box...

    Covid & Football

Seen it reported by one journo that fans will be able to have a pint at the football but ONLY in their seat! That will surely require a change to the existing law about not drinking in your seat. Unclear if a scotch egg is required with a beer too!

    AFC Bournemouth v Preston N E

Lack of experience shouldn’t really be an excuse for not picking a youngster otherwise they will never gain that experience. Had Kevin Bond not given Pitman and Vokes the opportunity against Forest those years ago who knows what direction their careers might have gone in. For me the question...

FA Cup third round draw tomorrow

It’s a naff draw in the respect that we might not be arsed yet still go through and then have to go through it all again.

    AFC Bournemouth v Preston N E

Gary Lineker said more players should pass the ball into the net rather than blasting it while SOD once said he’d rather a player blaze it over the bar trying to score than a tame back pass straight at the keeper. I think the truth is there is a variety of techniques players can use none of...

    AFC Bournemouth v Preston N E

Some Rotherham fans highlighted Billing as our best player so it’s interesting how opinions differ. I think there is perception bias in the way we view our players. He was poor in the first half and that hardened opinion on him to such an extent no one noticed he was actually pretty decent in...

    Match report v Rotherham

Given the injuries to Danjuma and Cook I’m not sure how we could have set up much differently. I mentioned previously I’d have liked to have seen Roro get some minutes with Stan centrally but I think it’s very harsh to blame JT for not starting that way. When we did make the tactical change we...

Since Blake presumably had the money sat in his bank account is there a list of items that would be acceptable for him to purchase and which are not?

Well the top of your arm can now score a goal. I think they are saying the “T-shirt line”. When they draw the lines, the angle of your arm makes a large difference. A few weeks ago a player was offside because he was pointing where he wanted the ball to be played. Interestingly they don’t seem...

    Match report v Rotherham

Not sure the 4-3-3 v 4-2-3-1 was that big a deal. After all it’s just a very minor tweak in player positioning. It was more an issue of personnel. When you remove Stanislas and Cook from the central 3 and replace them with Gosling and Billing, you get a completely different skill set. Without...

    Rotherham - The verdict.

I think the idea is to draw the press to create a better angle to play round them. I don’t think we got those angles quite right today and ended up putting team mates under pressure. Moving to a 3 and as you say, missing Lewis as the link man probably played a part in that.

Thoughts on the season so far.

The football we play is on the ground though and since we are playing a lower stand of opposition we see more of the ball and get more time and space on it. That should suit him more as with any player in our squad.

Thoughts on the season so far.

It takes a while for a side to become a team. Although several players have been at the club for a while, they’ve not played many minutes together to form the partnerships great teams do have. Lewis Cook is obviously the one who makes us tick. I like the movement from Dom to drop deep to create...
