    New Club Badge ??

didn't we have a similar logo for a few seasons decades ago? is it just me or is it discreetly designed to be a cock pointing at you and two balls ('cherries') on either side?

very odd, unexpected and a bit harsh tbh but at least... "The appointment of a new head coach will be announced imminently."

    Jefferson Lerma

Thought he could do better in terms of where he went and money to be honest if that's what he was chasing. Palace is hardly inspiring. Facing a new challenge I kind of get... but Palace? Securing premier league survival with 8 games to go there vs 4 games to go here isn't really mixing things...

At what point to the board need to be seriously questioned?

I'm as happy as I've ever been with the board - I just wish they were a bit more open sooner than the Parker leaving statement. One or two decent signings a window is ample, throwing in players for the sake of it is poor value and I'm glad the board now realise players like Brad Smith, Jordan...

    Blake and co

Don't think those running the club can be at fault for Parker's comments if that's our direction. It's irrelevant if it's near the transfer window closing or not - it's Parker that is forcing the issue here, and if he wasn't going to get any more money, neither will the new manager as much as...

    New Manager Thread

His image only matters to those that will recruit him, other club owners. Publicly putting them down and getting in your excuses ahead of things going wrong doesn't look good at all. It's a unique strategy i'll give him that.

    Scott Parker

Having Parker admit we're practically relegated after 4 games after whinging all pre-season too, you might as well roll the dice and throw anyone else in. We all know we've not spent enough to compete fully and it'll be a tough season, but that stays between the manager and board... if the...

Brings Millwall well into it now final game for them.... they needed results (theirs and others) AND a big GD swing, GD isn't a factor anymore

    AFC Bournemouth v Peterborough United

Do we have permission to criticise from the usual suspects yet? Don't want to be accused again of wanting us to lose....

    AFC Bournemouth v Preston

Result or one similar always on the cards, and a team like PNE always the one to deliver it. Said it last game, we've been lucky quite a few times and finally come unstuck Fulham 6-0 up away at Blackburn.... I can't see us getting a score line like that they way we play...

get in, lovely finish.... looked like it took 10 minutes to roll in from when it left his boot

    Reading v AFC Bournemouth

Not to be a negative one when we keep winning and still unbeaten but felt we've been far from our best for quite big chunks of games - still done the job but always nervy, maybe thats always expecting 'same old bournemouth' to happen when I should just relax. Real test will be going a few goals...

Last Game in a Bournemouth Shirt

Was Brad Jones, Jordan Ibe, Marc Wilson, Rhoys Wiggins (lol) 'prem standard' when everyone was saying how they were good value squad signings in the PL? He gets snapped up if we make signs that players are available or want to offload high earners, which I fear we will.

Last Game in a Bournemouth Shirt

Someone like West Brom might, or a could be PL squad player - just the signing we used to make in the PL If the board want to consolidate and save money then offloading him for a few million will make the wage savings worth it, and be great value for a lower PL team.
