We didn't pay Sunderland a fee for Defoe. £20 million if he had been under contract? We allegedly gave Defoe £60,000 per week and a £6 millions signing on fee (spread over his contract). Every club does it if they can.

Premier League say we are mathematically safe.

If we're safe the PL clearly know of some whopping points deductions, upcoming. Bye bye ManC.

Exactly. Calvert-Lewin tucked both feet up under his hams after the contact. There was no way that the actual contact could cause such a bodily action; it was clearly cheating. He should have been booked.

    The art of shithousery

Neil Moss was rather good at shithousery. The more switched-on ref would brandish the Yellow Card for some of his antics.

Everton fans have great gallows humour. 'Good team bonding away, away from all the pressure. Got everyone back fit and focused for the 10 Cup Finals we have left and everyone looks like they're raring to go and competition within the squad is the best it's been all season Bournemouth 4-0...

    AFC Bournemouth v Everton

A lot around me, agreed they have far better players than their results. I thought during the match that if Howe took over now, he'd probably win 7 of their remaining matches with that squad.

Cook had a very good game. There were occasions when he and Adams looked a bit unsure with each other but they were when they were both close together on the pitch. Adams tended to be slightly wider than Cook most of the game.

Agree with most of that (please post more like this). Neto (his name is actually pronounced neeh-too, who'da thunk it) was a bit better than a 4 IMNSHO more of a 5.5, as he played well and made some good saves and excellent play out from the back for the first 75 minutes. It was really only the...

You're sorry for him? I'm sorry for his wife, his neighbours, his former shipmates, next door's cat and the bloke who has to cross the road whenever he goes down the shop and Brian puts his head out.
