A bit like that metaphorical difficult 2nd album, this has been a difficult 3rd season in the PL despite Ake looking like an outstanding acquisition and Lewis Cook really stepping into the side.

The performances haven't been there nearly as often this season but, despite that, some effective points gathering has meant we've still finished pretty well in the table.

If next season we could marry some of the performances of the first two seasons with that happy knack of picking up points we often showed this one I'd expect to see us in a very impressive position indeed this time next year.
