AFC Bournemouth v Barnsley

To be honest Barnsley are trying to play, which has opened it up for us. It would be a different story against a team defending first

That was one of the most one-sided 3-0s you'll ever seen. Travers will never have an easier clean sheet and we really should have scored at least 4 or 5 given the chances and openings that we created.

Barnsley lost the plot totally in the last quarter.

First time this season we've had real strength on the bench to switch things up and we looked a different proposition with a slightly more experienced starting line up.

Christie could and probably should have notched a debut goal. Solanke could have got a hattrick. Billing, Brooks and Smith all had chances. After that first six minutes it was a procession, even we did ease off in the latter part of the first half.

Exciting to see on many levels, and lots of hope what the weeks ahead will bring.

Especially noteworthy performances: Zemura and Lerma.

Room for improvement: Based on the second half, nobody.

For years, it's felt like LB has been a problem position for us. Daniels began struggling but nobody else was able to replace him. Until now.
