AFC Bournemouth v Chelsea - Sunday 2 pm

So many overloads in that game it was jumpers for goalposts stuff, that game should never have finished 0-0 but the final ball/finishing was equally bad from both sides.

Aarons, Kerkez, Kelly, Cook outstanding, but thought most of our team were “on it” today, Django the outlier to that but we know he will have better days.

Dango certainly looked rusty today.

Decent game probably deserving of a draw. Not a classic for sky but who cares. You can see glimpses of our attacking play but it needs work. Lots of effort though and that will pay dividends eventually you hope.

Good performances all round, Neto and Kelly’s best games. Cook played well, hopefully the other midfielders will be fit soon to help out. Could’ve won but pleased with another hard earned point.
Win next week

First half showed "international break rust", I thought, and didn't get me very excited. Second half was great tension, could have just as easily been 0 points as 3 points. Neto was big (as was Sanchez for them), Cook and Aarons extremely good as others have said, and Christie was very disruptive to their attack. Tbh, Chelsea didn't look like much.

And, we definitely did not sit back and play for a draw.

I would have been happy with 4-5 points after 7 games, so having 3 so far .... good enough for me.

Appreciate that I'm likely to get Pelters for this but would have started Rothwell ahead of Billing all day long!

Also not sure why Semenyo didn't start as well!

For a 0-0 draw it was enjoying to watch.

That final last ball pass let us down at times today, but it was a good team performance and especially from our defence.

Cook had a very good game today and was everywhere.

Solanke very unlucky not to score towards the end, but a great stop with his foot by the Chelsea keeper prevented a late home win.

Overall a draw was a fair result, watched by a crowd of 10,421.

A good summary BTK. For a goalless draw it was a good game and we’re certainly making progress, small steps perhaps but I sense we’re going in the right direction. Thought everyone played well today, as you say we just lacked the final pass but that will come.
