AFC Bournemouth v Manchester City - Tuesday 7.30 PM

"I'm Really looking forward to this match" just doesn't do justice to how I'm feeling about it : )

We've got our European fate in our own hands, an outside chance of the Champions League next season.I suppose it's the nearest thing to promotion now we're in the top division : )

We've got Man City coming to town and we're not "bricking it". We know if they want to beat us they've got to be at their best : )

We can beat them and put pressure on Liverpool for a Champions League place (up until recently writing stuff like this would be classed as "fantasy", now it feels like fact) : )

Whatever the outcome of the next two matches, the Cherries have had a brilliant season, it will probably be our best (so far) : )

Only two more sleeps : )

U - T - C - I -A - D : )

It'll be a doddle sir.

There was a discussion on here recently about whether a current England manager had ever come to watch a match at Dean Court.

I heard somewhere that Tuchel will be there tomorrow, three days before announces his final squad for the World Cup.

It's the perfect opportunity for Scott. Rise to the level of the occasion and pressure of the game, run the midfield against some of the best in the world and he'll have done everything he can.

Interesting reading. They're mostly still confident but I don't think any of our previous meetings would have had them as worried. Testament to our season.

The sun is out. I’ve got INXS on the playlist trying to learn the words, lucky vest on the washing line, passport on the sideboard

It’s in the bag.
but above all you'll be wanting a damn fine game of football, bugger the result, it's the entertainment industry after all

Overall yes. The last few games of the season though id take a result over entertainment.
but surely you're an entertainment absolutist, buddy, like when previous managers have been pragmatic and you've torn in to them for boring football?

sounds like you're flip-flopping....?

It’s quite simple, it’s not a black and white world. My priority is entertainment but when you’ve done that and get to the last two games if you can’t entertain then get the job done.

Luckily our waiter friend normally does both so we don’t have to have the argument.

The one thing both sets of fans have in common is they think the refs are crap!

Haven't heard anything from Jimenez...I assume there's no possibility of his return??
Echo today.

Ryan Christie will be suspended after his red card at Craven Cottage, while there is no update on the investigation into Alex Jimenez, and the right back is expected to remain sidelined, too.

One point from two difficult games secures European football, we may not even need that if others fail. Everyone wishes for Champions League entry, but for me it's the Europa Conference that is my dream. But be careful what you wish for, in the Champions League we will be going to places renowned for violence. Our fans will be in constant danger at the big Italian cities and several of the French, Spanish or Turkish ones. In the Conference and also the Europa League we will be going to great places like Ljubljana, Tallin or Valletta. Sitting in a pavement cafe in the sun surrounded by friendly locals' beats dodging the truncheons and bottles in Marseilles. That also leaves the champions league as an ambition. I often wonder how fans of the Sky six get excited having won it all several times over.
