Jnr out for another 12 weeks...

Looks like his decision to sign a 2-year contract is working out well for him... Never known a player that is so unlucky with injuries...

As ever, thank you for this. Am I right in thinking Davis, Morgan Rogers, Cantwell and Phillips have a loan to buy option...does anyone know?

I think Junior is a great footballer, very unlucky with injuries though. I think they may agree (Club & Jnr) to pay off his contract as he really needs to think about his long term health.
 
Junior played a lot of games last season and scored 10 plus goals from the wing,goals we have missed this season.
Eddie was known for his high intensity training methods and so is Scott.
Maybe training last season was a little more relaxed,which suited him better.
 
There is unlucky with injuries and then there is injury prone.

I really think Stanislas is a special player but the injuries are beyond what is normal.

If we contrived not go up this season guessing we'd have to look at selling at least Dom and Jeff given their contract situation. Need to cut costs anyway but Dom isn't necessarily where you'd look to do it.
 
It's nice that we aren't about to lose a load of players to ending contracts! Buys us a bit of negotiating time with existing players and the manager knows what positions he will have to strengthen.

If it were me I would...

Try and buy:
Nat Phillips-On loan from Liverpool until summer 2022 - Been brilliant since he arrived!
Ethan Laird-On loan from Manchester United until summer 2022 - Shown some promising signs
Todd Cantwell-On loan from Norwich City until summer 2022 - Not played much but still a very talented footballer with PL experience for not much money

Offer new long term deals to:

Dorset live reported recently that it is believed that Solanke and Kelly both have 2 years left on their current contracts. Both signed unspecified long term deals.
 
Surely the Premier League riches need to be used so secure the talent we have in the squad 1st was really hoping 1st deals announced would be Jeff, Jaidon, Jordan and Travs

And out of the 27 players listed, I believe only Hill and Saydee qualify as Under 21's.

So some of the other 25 players are either going to have to be loaned out or moved on if we are to bring in other senior pros - that is assuming Brooks and Stan will be fit enough to take spots up. This makes it very unlikely that Brady will be kept on IMO.
 
If the club really wanted to keep him, they'd have made a decision by now I think. I wonder if it's just a matter of waiting for us to bring in another left back. Assuming it is us being non committal (although it could be Brady too I suppose), I guess Brady might not feel particularly flattered by all the delays, and might decide he'd rather go elsewhere with a greater chance of regular game time.

Having said that, due to his injury problems last season and at Burnley, I personally think we should look elsewhere.

Lots of mights and I thinks in there, so my statements don't look too bold:)

Yes I think your probably right, but junior and Adam Smith contracts weren't announced until quite late last year
