That's true. I wonder if both players wanted better terms? I remember Stan's extension being especially late.

Brooks will surely signan extension when and if he gets fit.

He has been shown a lot of love by the fans team and medical staff and will likely reciprocate.

Agreed, I expect Brooks to sign.

If we get 15 appearances out of Stanislas and stay up I'd guess he'll get another year. If we go down I imagine he'll be an unfortunate victim of the cost cutting.

Unless something unexpected happens this season I think Stacey's race may be run.

Mepham is the enigma. Five at the back will give him plenty of opportunity this year. Take it and an extension will be incoming. If he doesn't break into the team then it's surely time for him to move on in search of regular minutes.

Zemura and Anthony... the fact they're still on their youth graduate contracts makes me think they won't be here next season.

As far as I can tell Dennis does not count as an U21 so we have 26 players out of which we must name a 25 man squad. Who will be the odd man out?

As far as I can tell it's 27 including Hill.

I have counted the number of players SIX times and still got the wrong answer!!

I keep checking and still conclude one will have to be left out. If we had managed to get Redmond it would have been two. I thought we had to register 25 with the PL as soon as the window closed, but there is nothing on their website.

My guess if we've either excluded Dennis and gone with two keepers on the basis that if they both get injured, we'll be given special dispensation to bring in a new one and they'd likely more more experienced that Dennis.

Or, the injuries to either Pearson or Stanislas are far worse than hoped and so they've been left out as they won't be back by mid-November.

I am not as worried as you - Go down and we sell billing and Kelly in any case but stay up review again given our new wealth.
