Annoying fixture changes Dec & Jan

Interesting, is that due to you guys being regularly selected for television coverage? Looking at the fixtures over the entire league, the majority seem to be 3pm Saturday Kick offs.

At least you get more games, to celebrate goals (no VAR,) more affordable football and no tourist ‘fans!’
over the next 6 Championship weekends, there are 6,7,7,5,7,6 matches that kick off at 3pm on a Saturday - so about 50% of them don't.

Just seen that there are five fixture changes during Dec & Jan including trips to Ipswich & Newcastle
Sorry if this has already been posted

Yes think so.

Seems to be a block of them as we haven't had a home tv game yet this season despite playing teams who would probably attract better ratings than Watford x Oxford or Blackburn.

That is true about the goals and cost although not sure some of the clubs in the Championship charge fair prices - Leeds/Sheffield Wednesday come to mind.

Not so much tourist fans in our case - just ones who support PL clubs and only really had a season ticket to see those sides.

Considering a large part of the TV offering is apparently the atmosphere which comes from both home and visiting support, you've got to admit that scheduling the longest fan journey in the Prem League for an early kick off is a stroke of pure genius. With ultimate respect to all those going up, afraid we won't be with you this time at St James's.
