Now been delayed until a later date as the defence has submitted the defendant isn't fit to stand trial. So it's on to medical assessments.

Is live reporting from cases a new thing? Feels like its something that wouldn't have been allowed in the past.

Merseyside Police arrested an Everton fan during his side's match against Manchester City for alleged racist abuse towards Antoine Semenyo.

The supporter was apprehended at the Premier League fixture between the sides at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday, which finished 3-3.

Police said a 71-year-old man from Nottinghamshire was arrested "on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence" after "supporters and stewards reported that racist abuse was shouted by a fan".

Antoine won’t be going to Liverpool unless it’s to play football, Jesus.

At least the fans around him did the right thing. I still get amazed at racism although I probably shouldn’t sadly.

Look at Reform's support and wonder no more. There are an awful lot of racists in this country and Farage has enabled them to come out of the woodwork
 
He didn't have his best game yesterday but there were some moments where he simply amazed.
Shows the deep pockets of Man City that they can take him off while chasing a win.
 
Got a couple of buddies who are City ‘fans,’ or at least claim to be since around the time they started to be successful. Their opinion is that Antoine isn’t a Man City standard player. Doesn’t offer enough outside of goals and is short of the technical level that they expect from a wide player. They both would prefer to see Savinho in the starting eleven.
