You might have seen an advert in the Huddersfield programme and on the big screen about what's happening last season's bear. Since the bear's retirement from football it's feeling a bit left out. There's a new brown bear in town; the charity has a new ambassador..... it's all gone south for Dorsey Bear.
To help reclaim some past glories the bear has called out Bournemouth Cruiserweight prospect Chris Billam-Smith. Chris is currently the mandatory challenger for the Commonwealth Cruiserweight title and fights in AFCB colour shorts. In return for a "purse" of £1,000 towards The Dorset Children's Foundation the bear (whoever that is) will get in the ring with Billam-Smith for a few rounds of bear to man action.
If you'd like to see the bear (definitely the bear, not a human inside a suit who may or may not post on this board) get a good battering in the name of charity visit the link below. I'm not doing it The bear is not doing it for free. This face is worth at least a few quid.
