Not sure Brooks will be ready for a while. There's a chance he might never regain full fitness due to the aggressive treatment he's endured. What we do know is he's well again, which is the most important thing, and he'll do everything in his power to come back to the levels he was at before.
Having him in the squad will inspire the team. He overcame so much only about 9 months, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him play a part in the team next season.
