How enjoyable was that?

End to end, lots of chances and goals. Some great goals by us. No VAR. Could have gone either way. Typical championship.

No doubt, we will get fitter and better and encouragingly JT showing flexibility in approach.

It was vital to get rid of the prem league relegation hangover straight away.

hopefully the goal robots are back!
 
To me, we struggles with the formation. When you play at the back you need to play with wing backs but Smith rarely helped out. When they nearly scored after going to a back for he was in central midfield when Blackburn were attacking so Kelly was sold short again.

Stan needs to stop showboating....hes playing like hes better than the opposition. That might be the case but he gave away way to many chances to pass the ball by trying to be clever.

Dom should have looked better than he did against that defence.

L Cook needs to pick his game up, really not sure whats happened to him recently.

Danjuma is going to tear this league a new one.
 
Centre mid is an issue.
If someone comes in for Lerma for what we paid, we should offload. Must be cheaper options for what he does that aren’t on £50kish a week.
Lewis Cook as well. If you’re going to give the ball away, constantly, I would rather it was a Billing who, if he isn’t in a passive mood, and gets stuck in, could win it back and just add more of a physical presence.
Danjuma is different class.
Not a confidence inspiring performance from the keeper or defence....
But......it was a lot of fun!
