Nobody is saying don't try - just pointing out that given a choice of say AFCB, Brighton or Scummers who would a player be likely to choose. A sandy beach might not be enough to sway them.

I don;t get the who would come here argument. If you offer them decent wages, it's chance to showcase themselves. If you get relegated and they're decent, they'll get plenty of offers in the summer.

Christ on a bike, he's about 50 and is playing in Scotland.

Despite our current position and dodgy form, I think certain types of players would still be happy to come here. Even if we are not Eddie fans this week, inside the game he is still valued and people will see our squad and the potential we have. Anyone with a brain could see us rising up the table just as easily as we've come down it. Still a very tight table too.
