Callum Wilson

I'm really glad this was nothing more than a rumour as it's unfortunately very believable.

Wilson was such a good player for us the Championship and for the first few games of our Premier League campaign. His career is hanging on him staying fit and regaining his pace or totally reinventing himself, which would be a very big ask.

Wilson has been doing some reconditioning work in America (with one of our physios in tow).

2 solid wks of Reconditioning w/ Callum Wilson, w/help from @Jonny_King_PT from @afcbournemouth. Work still to be done; much improved!

Good to hear, but with the players we have don't rush him back
Totally agree, don't bring him back until he's 100% fit and ready. IMO another setback could really threaten his career.

Talksport says Stanislas out for a month.

Not ideal but with Ibe's and Gradel's decent form in pre season, along with Pugh, Fraser and Mahoney... we're not short of players on the wing...

Back training with the squad according to his Instagram.

Eddie doesn't need to rush him back, get him back to full fitness and don't take any chances.

He never really hit the heights in his last comeback before being injured again.

A short loan deal in champ would be beneficial at some stage to get his fitness back

There's no such thing as a short loan deal anymore. It's six months or a season.

I didn't realise. Shame as a few months would help players returning from injury and help recipient club. Did this change since we got Kenwynne jones for example?
