A plastic fan is a fair weather supporter. ie someone he only gets behind the team when they do well and not considered loyal enough.

“Shove it to the plastics” is a reference to a poster on here about 12 years ago who claimed (amongst more bizarre claims) he was the most loyal AFCB and those who criticised Kevin Bond as manager were plastics.

One good thing about this is that if EH ever leaves (god forbid) ,he wont be linked with coming back here.
Imagine if he got them a couple of promotions somehow ?
 
Maybe we could lend them the song we so passionately sang to him?

Think it went something like this:

“Kevin Bond are you listening,
To the song that we’re singing,
You’re a f***ing clown,
And you’re taking us down,
Walking in a Bondy wonderland”
 
This was posted by a supporter under the Southend News match report from tonight,

"At least Blues can make a new start now that Bond has gone."

So, has he gone yet?
 
I am just idly curious but wasn't there supposed to be an adviser to Southend manager's position who lives by the seaside not a million miles from here?
