David Brooks

We're all assuming that Brooks will play from the off... Going on recent signings, he'll be lucky to get any game time before October...

Expect a starting midfield of Cook and Surman/Gosling/Arter (whoever is left)...

Good signing regardless... Now for a CB and CF...

The Echo updated story.

CHERRIES are set to splash out an eight-figure fee on Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks – making him one of the club's most expensive signings.

It is understood Cherries have agreed to pay £10million to secure the Welsh international, with add-ons taking the deal to around £11.5m.

The Blades have reportedly inserted a sell-on clause into the agreement.

...hope that the sell on clause is not too generous it will be AFCB that will develop his skills further no Sheff Utd who are making a tdiy sum on one of their palyers?

I've no problem with that, and is probably set at 25%, considering his age...

Let's face it, if he hadn't developed to this point at Sheff Utd, then we'd probably never have noticed him... They have to take some credit for getting him to where he is, and evidently didn't want to lose him...\

It wasn't too long ago that we were all clambering around for Lallana's sell on and he left us at 14, was it... ?

Well you never play your best eleven players, you play your best eleven players for the task ahead. When we (rarely) play what looks like a 343 we generally have defensively capable wide players (Smudger and Weeman) and very narrow forwards who interchange a bit, so if he can play 10 then he can also play 7 or 11 as they aren't isolated on the wing. That said almost anyone who can play 10 can also play wing especially given our under/overlapping fullbacks who can cross well

He started 30 games in Championship for them last season. 3 goals and 4 assists. Well he sounds creative and it's what we need, also think this indicates Harry is going to be sold.

First £12 million, then £10million with add ons and now £15 million. I wouldn’t quote the star billy!

Look at it this way, the selling club local paper are quoting a higher figure.

The buying club local paper are quoting a lower figure.

Is this information to keep the fans happy?

At the end of the day it will probably be undisclosed.
