A company owned by the Mitchell clan (Elite Skills Arena Ltd, for details see https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09299923/officers) has submitted a planning application to build what I can best describe as a self service squash court type football practice space in an odd corner next to the athletics stadium. Details here: http://planning.bournemouth.gov.uk/RealtimeRegister/plandisp.aspx?recno=89870

It isn't clear who actually owns the piece of land in question.

In fairness the "squash court" has been around for a couple of years and uses Lallana and Arter on their website.

Blimey with all these plans going in the council must love him he raises more money than the traffic cameras
Mr Mitchell's planning applications paid for the spur rd he's had more planning application than wimpey homes bet his architect gets through some printer ink

I guess he thinks the club are moving there. If he can own a little piece he can get a good price for it from the club

Having proposed one such high-tech 360-degree arena at Poole’s Whitecliff Park, the former Cherries chairman wants three more in the area before looking to roll them out nationwide, and even globally.

One would be alongside the parking area at Canford Magna Garden Centre in Magna Road, another at Kings Park in Bournemouth, to the west of the athletics track, adjacent to the public path linking the public car park to AFC Bournemouth Stadium. There is also an application in the offing for one at Pelhams Park in Bournemouth as well.

1. Urgh. Using the attacks as a promotional opportunity.

2. Wow! He's invented light gun games. I wonder why nobody thought of that idea 25 years ago? He could even branch out into some kind of arcade games as well. I'm sure it would be popular.

spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police currently has an in-house firearms training simulator offering firearms officers training scenarios and access to both 180 and 360 degree live fire ranges which meet our current training requirements.”

A spokesman for Eddie Michell said "No matter, it gave our company some much needed publicity. By the way, we're currently adaping the machine to help cure cancer and world poverty"

I'll leave the visual of Eddie Mitchell looking like a nutjob firing off pretend rounds to someone else to interpret.

I was just shocked by the state of his current appearance. Looks like he slept in a hedge the night before that video was done
