Hopefully the good news. Here we go!
I was able to count only 11 Kroupis in that image.
The i Paper understands that there is no release clause in the contract Kroupi signed when he moved to England from Lorient for £10m in February last year.
That gives Bournemouth control over Kroupi’s future as they ponder a new contract to reflect his stellar debut season. The earliest a transfer would be considered is the summer of 2027 – and then the value would be £100m plus
Im struggling to imagine us turning down an offer from these kinds of clubs... assuming we don't want a p1ssed off player on our hands.
But who knows, maybe he would be omboard with giving us another year's service first.
Probably see a contract extension with a sneaky release clause in it announced this summer.
Yes decent wage bump, and a clause that guarentees him move down line is likely/realistic. Similar to semenyo... albeit not the slightly weird january thing.
I don't have an issue with it personally. Player from the multi club model too so the sort of sale that will keep the wolf from the door. Tricky setting the right amount for the clause though - could easily look too cheap if he smashes it in europe.
Maybe he’s just a decent lad with a smart head on his shoulders who realises that he’s better off playing and developing here for the time being rather than jumping straight to the very top before he’s even entered his twenties.Im struggling to imagine us turning down an offer from these kinds of clubs... assuming we don't want a p1ssed off player on our hands.

Decent was perhaps the wrong word, the emphasis was supposed to be on the word ‘smart.’Yes as I allude to in second sentence...
What does decent have to do with it?
Maybe hes a decent lad with a smart head that backs himself and isnt afraid to make the move to one of the biggest clubs in the world and start winning major honours and play for France as soon as possible?

Smart enough to know that he wouldn’t play regularly at these clubs yet because there are areas of his game that clearly need to develop before that can become a reality. It’s all well and good ‘backing yourself’ but knowing your current limitations and being wise enough to know when the time is right is not a bad stance to take either. He’s a number nine who can’t even play as a number nine for us yet, so underdeveloped certain areas of his game are.
As for international honours, he won’t get any of those if he’s not playing at all. I’m not sure why he can’t get those here anyway? Huijsen, Rayan and Senesi all have.
It’s an interesting observation from someone who doesn’t have a vested interest in next season. Is that a hint at any frustration at the model here, or do I overthink it.
Ten million quid out, one hundred plus million in.
Multi-club model proving its worth.
If he carries on next season on his current trajectory, his value will only increase.
Clearly it makes sense to hold onto him for another season at least.
Just give him an improved contract, with an appropriate release clause if necessary, as a reward for having proven his ability here at this level. No brainer for both parties really.
This sums it up perfectly.Yes mate. What Im feeling particularly reassured by is the fact we're now into.the next wave of 'wonderkids'. The club and its recruitment policy/team are demonstrating they are more than capable of identifying and signing some of the best prospects in workd football... over and over. Its not end of world when players innevitably move on, we don't need to be afraid, anxious about it.
This seasons end of season form and getting into any euro comp, may serve to bump our stature again, as what happened last season (which imo, was the first time since howe took us into the pl).
Which means the recruitment teams job may become slightly 'easier' this summer, as even more evidence of our ambition, platform offered for young players to realise potential, attract attention from biggest clubs in world and now have chance of pushing for Europe
The kind of Players that may have rejected us 2 years ago, may now be interested.
Hopefully our head coach recruitment works just as well!
