Financial Fair Play question

I doubt it, we turn a profit from commercial stuff like club shop, merch and shirt/matchday sponsors, plus we got about 112million in prize money last year, likely to go up by about another 20 million next year

edit: also I think the Mansion deal runs out this summer, so hopefully we can attract a more lucrative shirt sponsor. I imagine most of the bigger clubs are getting more for the sleeve logo than we get for the whole shirt

Does spending 80 million with not much offset endanger Bournemouth per this rule. Not really sure how it works.
Er no. Our net spend is still amongst the lowest in the PL, as is the wage bill. Finishing mid-table in the PL gives us a far greater income than sides with bigger stadiums.

Apologies if I’m wrong but I detect an agitator from Burnley or Brighton!

Just another football club website.

Welcome to our MB.

Are you another American fan of our club?
Yes, I lived in a beach town in North Carolina when Bournemouth came up and thought it the perfect club to follow. I have enjoyed it and Eddie Howe makes it easy. Still struggle with the vernacular and obviously, selling/buying/loaning players. Nothing like that in American sports, so totally new thought process.
I am glad that Bournemouth isn't a selling club. I've met a number of transplants here, but almost all are from London area. I met one lifelong Wolverhampton fan and he was a treat to talk to about the Premier League this year. He was a carpet designer and he said everyone who grew up around his town was in the carpet business. Who knew.

I do accept that odd questions would raise eyebrows, so seriously, no offense taken.

I am from Los Angeles, CA and not from Burnley or Brighton. Sorry to bother this board with my question. Have no idea what NSC is, though.

Welcome!

NSC is North Stand Chat, a Brighton football message board.

They're our rivals, sort of, and are absolutely fixated with our financial situation.

They're convinced we illegally cheated out way into the Premier League and keep banging on about it every time football finances get into the media.

...and they can beat us in the league ( 10 years and counting ) and remember a certain Boxing day match in a retail park which used to be a proper in town football ground.......

Suprised you could understand him if he was from Wolverhampton. Are you sure he wasn't saying 'Carpenter' instead of 'Carpet fitter'?
